so i just got photoshop and man is it complicated! all of you girls are so good at it! got any tips for a newcomer?

Hehe! Just do a lot of experimenting with all the tools and try it on photos you may have. Also, you can search for tutorials online, too! Smile

yep experimentation is the best.....but use the help section it's really useful seriously!!!

i LOVE photoshop, and photomanipulation & all that good stuff, hence why im gonna be going to college for graphic design, which im really excited about, I dont have REAL photoshop so I'm not much help , I use this free thing called the gimp, but it gets me by. lol!

graphic design.. that's cool. i wish i had known about gimp. before i tried doing photoshop stuff with a combiniation of paint, microsoft word, and picture manager.... yeahhh it didn't work so well

ahh yeah, it never does, thats what i used to deal with , i found the gimp kinda on accident, after i was living off of trying to dl 30 day trials of software, b/c i dont wanna pay over 600 dollars for a program, i found it on download.com and i love it Smile

okayy my signature is my second attempt at photoshopping i guess you could call it. and beware i made this one in like a day.

my first one was supposed to be this whole nabokov thing and then i spent so much time on it but then i kept changing things and taking stuff out so i kinda gave up on that one for now : ]
